After being in charge of a clinic at a University medical department, he opened his own psychotherapy practice where he also organises training seminars in the techniques of hypnosis.

His interest in medicine leads him to search for answers far beyond Western traditions in a number of Asian countries. He has thus been exposed to different approaches, notably Taoism, investigating elements that could complement his medical practice.
